Wellness Trails

In 2017, we forged new trails in the spirit of wellness and kicked off a health education series called Wellness Trails, with the concept of bringing multiple facets of wellness to our community and highlighting the breadth of local resources on the Cape.  We explore health themes in depth and offer attendees a concentrated experience, combining the expertise of Cape Cod Healthcare Specialists and Physicians from Emerald with important supplemental approaches such as nutrition, healthy recipes, yoga, mindfulness, and exercise.  Excursions have included Heart and Lung Health, Brain and Brawn (musculoskeletal) health, Gut Health, Dementia, Women’s Health, Cancer Prevention/Metabolic Health, and Transitioning Toward a Plant-Based Diet.  Wellness Trails has evolved into a concept in which event topics are co-designed with attendees, based on survey feedback.   We are looking forward to seeing many of you on future trails!
