Cormac F. Coyle, MD
Medical DirectorDr. Coyle has served as a practicing Physician and as both Medical Director and Business Director of Emerald Physicians since its inception. Originally from Ireland, Dr. Coyle graduated from the University of Galway Medical School and completed his medical training in Ireland and England, including working as a Hospitalist. When he came to the United States, he completed residency at Boston City Hospital. Dr. Coyle founded Emerald Physicians in 1997, beginning with a small office on Cedar Street in Hyannis. Today, the practice has nine offices located across Cape Cod and a highly skilled staff of over 200 employees.
Dr. Coyle’s philosophy that all patients deserve access to quality medical care has earned him the respect of his colleagues, staff, and over 38,000 patients in our community.
Munir Ahmed, MD, FACPDr. Ahmed attended Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut. He is a Fellow at the American College of Physicians and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, Dr. Ahmed was a hospitalist for seven years at Cape Cod Hospital, and practiced primary care medicine in Falmouth and Sandwich. Additionally, he was the medical director for a local nursing home and for hospice and palliative care. He is currently serving on the board of directors for Cape Cod Preferred Physicians. Dr. Ahmed’s medical interests include preventive care, inpatient care, critical care, diabetes management, hypertension, obesity, and geriatrics. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing cricket, table tennis, bike riding, and listening to music.

Jorge Alfonso, MDDr. Alfonso attended New York Medical School and Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his residency at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. He was in private practice in Fort Pierce, FL, for several years before moving to Cape Cod in 2005. Prior to practicing medicine at Emerald Physicians, Dr. Alfonso was a Hospitalist at Cape Cod Hospital.

Daniel Arnold, MDDr. Arnold is a graduate of Providence College and the Tulane University School of Medicine, and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed residency training at Boston Medical Center in 2008, and served as Chief Medical Resident from 2008-2009. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, Dr. Arnold was a Hospitalist at Cape Cod Hospital. His medical interests include inpatient medicine, critical care medicine, care of chronic complex medical problems, and palliative care. Dr. Arnold and his wife Carly have six young children and enjoy exploring the Cape.

Julie Craig-Muller, MDDr. Craig-Muller joined Emerald Physicians in March 2014. She is a graduate of Stanford University, and attended the University of Tubingen, Germany, Medical School. Dr. Craig-Muller completed her medical degree at the University of Minnesota and residency at the Mayo Clinic, St. Cloud Hospital Family Practice Residency. She has practiced General Family Medicine for almost fourteen years with Centracare Clinic of St. Joseph, Minnesota. Additionally she has provided care for the College of St. Benedict, staffing their student health service on a limited basis and advising their nurse practitioner. Dr. Craig Muller’s medical interests include general wellness, women’s health, musculoskeletal health in all ages, allergy, and asthma. She also participated in a Diabetes Care Initiative and helped to successfully improve diabetes outcomes for the Minnesota healthcare system.

Peter Crosson, MDDr. Crosson attended New York University. He completed his residency at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He worked for a year as a staff physician at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center prior to moving back east in 2003. Dr. Crosson is certified in bone densitometry by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. His special interests include rheumatology and sports medicine, cortisone injections for bursitis and arthritis, osteoporosis, and diabetes management.

Gaurav Dang, MDDr. Dang joined Emerald Physicians in January 2015. He was born in New Delhi, India and moved to the United States with his family when he was 11. He grew up in Winchester, MA and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in biology. Dr. Dang pursued his medical degree at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, followed by clinical rotations at Lutheran Hospital and Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his residency in family medicine at Summa Barberton Hospital in Barberton, Ohio and is board-certified in Family Medicine. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians and moving back to the East coast, Dr. Dang practiced family medicine in Lewiston, PA with Family Heath Associates, an affiliate of Lewiston Hospital.
His areas of medical interest include geriatrics care, as he was previously a nursing home medical director for the past 3 years, as well as preventative care. Dr. Dang also has a special interest in caring for acute patient needs such as treatment for urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections and minor injuries.
Outside of medicine, his hobbies include playing and following sports, and he is an avid fan of New England’s sports teams. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and learning about world history through books, shows and travel.

Marcia Franklin, MDDr. Franklin attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and completed her residency at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, she practiced medicine with Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a member of Cape Cod Preferred Physicians. Dr. Franklin’s special interests include preventive care and comprehensive medical care.

Anna Hallemeier, MDDr. Hallemeier graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Anthropology in 1996. She attended medical school at Yale School of Medicine, in New Haven, CT, and completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, she has been practicing primary care on Cape Cod since 2007. Her medical interests include young adult medicine, nutrition and lifestyle management, chronic disease management, and the intersection of the global environment with individual health. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hallemeier enjoys yoga, hiking, travel, and caring for her children.

Ruth Holland, MDDr. Holland attended medical school and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After training, she joined a private group practice affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to open her own solo practice in Chester County, PA. Her practice encompassed adult general medicine, ages 16 and up, with an emphasis on chronic care management, women’s health, and hospital medicine. She also cared for patients in three nursing homes and a long-term acute care facility. While in Chester County she was involved in a variety of health care reform issues working to improve the County and State healthcare system and to advance healthcare excellence at all levels. Dr. Holland was very active in the Pennsylvania Medical Society, served on the Executive committee of Chester County Hospital and was President of the Chester County Medical Society for the past two years before coming to the Cape.
She is board-certified and re-certified in Internal Medicine. Her professional philosophy is to treat patients as she would wish to be treated and to assist them to the best of her abilities in navigating a complex healthcare system. Some of her other interests include family, music, horse-back riding, and environmental stewardship and conservation.
Dr. Holland sees patients at our newest office located at 130 North Street in Hyannis. Additionally, she sees patients one day a week at our Harwich office, located at 1421 Orleans Road in the 400 East Plaza.
Anna Manatis, MDDr. Manatis will be joining Emerald Physicians in February 2015. Dr. Manatis graduated from Harvard University in 1978 with a BA in Anthropology. She attended New York University School of Medicine and completed an Internship in Medicine and Pediatrics and a Residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center. In addition, she completed her Masters of Public Health in Occupational and Environmental Health at the Harvard School of Public Health in 2007.
Prior to joining Emerald she has been practicing Internal Medicine at the Bulfinch Medical Group at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2009, where she continues as an Instructor of Medicine. She had practiced on the Cape in East Sandwich since 1989 and has been associated with Cape Cod, Falmouth, Jordan and Tobey Hospitals, as well as the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands. She has been involved with the Massachusetts Medical Association as a Trustee and she has also been on the Committee of Environmental and Occupational Health as well as the on the Committee on Public Health. She is currently Vice President of the Barnstable District for the MMS. Her interests involve infectious disease, gene environment interactions in the development of cancer and preventative medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Manatis enjoys spending time with her family, as well as kayaking, biking, theatre and traveling. She intends to take up fly fishing in the near future.

Miguel Prieto, MDDr. Prieto attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, he practiced medicine with Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a member of Cape Cod Preferred Physicians. Dr. Prieto’s special interests include geriatrics, diabetes, and hypertension.

Mahmood Rana, MDDr. Mahmood Rana is a board certified physician who received his medical training at Tufts University, the University of Vermont and Texas A&M University Health Science Center. During his medical training he held a position at President House Staff Association TAMUHSC and was a member of P&T Committee and other administrative bodies. Dr. Rana received a Top American Family Physician Award in 2007 and 2008.
He is inspired by his ability to slow or prevent the manifestation of disease and believes that a holistic philosophy is essential for building strong relationships with patients. Dr. Rana enjoys working in a supportive and caring environment among colleagues who are passionate about their profession and assist one another when necessary. His experiences around the world have taught him the value of hard work, the importance of patience and dedication, and the power of humility and compassion when interacting with patients and their families.

Matthew Rittel, MDDr. Rittel attended Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his internship and residency at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr Rittel is interested in all aspects of internal medicine, but puts strong emphasis on disease prevention in the care of his patients. Healthy lifestyle and diet changes are always used first whenever possible to obtain treatment goals. He enjoys the continuity of care among his patients on the Cape and sees adult patients of all ages and backgrounds. When he is not practicing medicine, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and kids on the local beaches, relaxing and having fun.

Rose Shorter, MDDr. Shorter graduated from Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA in 1995 with a degree in Biology. She attended medical school at the University of Rochester in New York and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, she has been practicing primary care in Salt Lake City, Utah since 2002. She enjoys caring for adults of all ages and working in collaboration with them to help improve their quality of life and manage chronic and acute illnesses. Outside of medicine, Dr Shorter spends her time with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys running, music and cooking.

Kumara Sidhartha, MD, MPHKumara Sidhartha MD, MPH completed medical school training at the Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College in Salem, India. After moving to the U.S., he completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center – affiliated with Cornell University, New York. He is a graduate of the Master of Public Health (MPH) in Nutrition program at the School of Public Health and Department of Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA (USA). He is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition by eCornell University and Colin Campbell Foundation in New York. In order to seek the most effective and least toxic treatment for challenging conditions such as cancer and autoimmune disease, he pursued biological medical training to become a diplomat of European Biological Medicine, a nutrition-centered natural therapeutic philosophy practiced at Paracelsus Klinik in Switzerland. He is board-certified in the American Board of Internal Medicine. His patients benefit from his guidance in nutritional treatments to prevent and treat chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and arthritis. His interest in sustainable and ethical food production led him to study permaculture design under the Permaculture Institute of USA (New Mexico). He is the founder and president of the Institute of Inter-connected Communities of India (IICC India), a not-for-profit organization with the mission to create role model communities that are healthy, sustainable, self-reliant and resilient. He regularly speaks among the public and professional community on the subjects of nutrition, health, and environmental sustainability – both in the Northeast US and in India (http://vimeo.com/29747234). In 2009, he received the Fragile Earth Award given by Housing-for-All Corporation of Cape Cod, awarded in recognition of his ongoing efforts to educate the public about plant-based food and its inter-connectedness to human and planetary health. Dr. Sidhartha also teaches Plant-based Nutrition, and Anatomy at the Kind Yoga Teacher Training School, a yoga-alliance certified institute in Cape Cod, MA.

Arash Tadbiri, MDDr. Tadbiri attended the Ghazvin University of Medical Sciences in Iran, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, he practiced medicine with Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Additionally, he has a fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Tadbiri’s special interests include geriatrics.

Lisa Weinstein-Moreno, MDDr. Moreno grew up in New York City. She attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She completed her Internship and Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania as well. Dr. Moreno was in Private Practice in Hallandale, FL and Warren, MI for 8 years prior to moving to the Cape in 2004. She worked as a Hospitalist at Cape Cod Hospital for 4 years prior to joining Emerald Physicians. Dr. Moreno is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine.

Jennifer August, PA-CJennifer August is board-certified Physician Assistant who has practiced on Cape Cod for the past 13 years. She received her BS in Medical Biology and her Masters of Science in Physician Assistance Studies from the University of New England. After graduation, Jennifer worked at the Duffy Health Center where she provided primary care services. She also created policies regarding standards of care for diabetes management, was the team leader/provider champion for the Diabetes Health Disparities Collaborative and was the liaison between the Duffy Health Center and Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.
Most recently, Jennifer has been working in Endocrinology with a primary focus on diabetes management/care. She was recently recognized by the NCQA Diabetes Recognition Program for providing the highest level of diabetes care.
Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, skiing, biking, and camping.

Mark Boardman, PA-CMark is a Certified Physician’s Assistant, with a Master of Science degree from Seton Hall University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor degree in Physics from Northeastern University.
Previously, Mark worked with the team that launched the first FDA-approved laser system for corrective refractive eye surgery, known today as LASIK. He later worked with other medical laser companies in various managerial roles. Mark started his medical career in the United States Air Force, where he served as a Medic and Medical Laboratory Technician. Since returning to his roots as a “Medic”, Mark has practiced Primary Care and Emergency Medicine on Cape Cod. A believer in health through diet and exercise as a first line of treatment, Mark enjoys working with his patients to attain their health goals.
When not practicing medicine, Mark spends his time with his wife, two children and their rescue dog. He also enjoys cycling, yoga and paddle boarding as well as playing the guitar and ukulele.

Junean Engelsen, MS PA-CJunean Engelsen is a graduate from Springfield College with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies, and board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Prior to this she successfully completed her Bachelors degree in Biology with pre-medical focus at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She is a member of both the Massachusetts Association of Physician Assistants (MAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Preceding her employment with Emerald, Junean worked as a Hospitalist PA at Falmouth Hospital providing acute inpatient care. She was raised on Cape Cod and is happy to reside here with her husband and son. Her special interests include general wellness, preventative medicine, and cardiovascular health.

Lauralee Ferriell, PA-CLauralee is a board-certified Physician Assistant who graduated with a Masters of Health Sciences from the University of South Alabama. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy where she graduated cum laude. Lauralee served as an Active Duty Naval Officer for 8 years prior to becoming a Physician Assistant. She is a member of the Alpha Eta Allied Health Professions Honor Society, the Massachusetts Association of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has also completed the Hyperbaric Medicine Team Training and Wound Care Course in San Antonio, TX. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, she worked as a Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery PA and as a Wound Care provider. Her special interests include cardiovascular health and preventative medicine. Lauralee lives in Plymouth with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the Cape.

Marie Hartley, PA-CMarie Hartley attended the Physician Assistant Program at Stony Brook University on Long Island, NY, where she graduated cum laude. She completed her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. Since 2001, she has worked in Internal Medicine on Cape Cod joining Emerald Physicians in August, 2010. Marie’s interests include disease prevention, orthopedics, women’s health and helping her patients find alternatives to pharmacological treatments. When she is not practicing medicine, Marie enjoys singing, bicycling and spending time with her family.

Andrea Lyonnais, PA-CAndrea received her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She attended the Physician Assistant program at Northeastern University in Boston where she received her master’s degree in health sciences and physician assistant studies. Following graduation from Northeastern she moved to Bakersfield, California where she worked in family medicine at a community health center.
Andrea was a member of the National Health Service Corps, working in an underserved medical community during her 4 years in Bakersfield. In October 2007 she and her husband moved back to the east coast and in December she started working at Emerald Physicians. Andrea is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Massachusetts Association of Physician Assistants. Andrea believes that eating a variety of healthy foods and staying active both physically and mentally are essential components for a happy and healthy life.

Diana Andrusyshyn, FNPDiana received her B.S.N. from University of CT, her M.B.A. in Health Care Administration from Sacred Heart University and her M.S.N. Family Nurse Practitioner from Fairfield, CT. She has an extensive background in both the clinical and professional area. She has worked as a Project Manager and Director of Case Management at Anthem Blue Cross, Care Manager at MetLife, an NP at Cardiology Assoc for Fairfield County, a Clinical Applications Analyst for Epic at Yale New Haven Health System, and most recently as an NP in Interventional Radiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. Diana has a special medical interest in heart health. In her spare time, Diana’s hobbies include spending time with friends and family, and exploring new beaches.

Michaela Deasy, FNP-BCMichaela graduated from Stonehill College with a degree in Allied Health. Upon completion of her undergraduate education, Michaela attended Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Professions where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a Master of Science in Nursing. Michaela is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the Massachusetts’s Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time Michaela enjoys spending time with her family, running and relaxing at the local beaches.

Stephanie Delande, MSN, FNP-BCStephanie graduated with honors from the Cape Cod Community College RN program, and Summa Cum Laude from University of Massachusetts Boston BSN program. She received her MSN- Family Nurse Practitioner from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie worked for nine years as a visiting nurse for the VNA of Cape Cod. She also worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a community health setting in Plymouth, seeing both pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Stephanie currently holds an adjunct clinical faculty position in the evening RN program at Cape Cod Community College, teaching clinical skills in geriatrics, acute care pediatrics, medical/surgical nursing and community health as well as guest lecturing on community health.
She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, National League for Nursing Education, and the Massachusetts Community College Council. Her areas of medical interest include genetic disease, urgent care, community health and mentoring new nurses.
Stephanie lives in South Chatham with her firefighter husband, and four children. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, and cheering on the Patriots.

Elizabeth Dunton, NPElizabeth is a graduate from Boston College with a baccalaureate degree and Master of Science in Nursing. She is a member of both the Sigma Theta Tau (International Honor Society of Nursing) and the Association of Women’s Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). She is also the Practice Administrator of Emerald Physicians. Elizabeth’s special interests include gynecology and fertility counseling.
Sue Harrington, DNP, APRN-BCSue graduated from Simmons College with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a Master of Science degree in Nursing. She graduated Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has been an adjunct instructor and student preceptor at Simmons Graduate School for Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (International Honor Society of Nursing) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (ANCC). She is the Practice Clinical Manager of Emerald Physicians. With 7 years experience as a nurse practitioner in gynecology, Sue has special interest in diabetes, COPD/Asthma and gynecology.

Renee Kane, ANP-BCRenee Kane is a board certified adult nurse practitioner. She graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Renee worked at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH as a certified nurse assistant, before she began the University of Connecticut Master’s Entry nursing program in 2007. While earning her masters education she worked as a RN at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT on a medical, cardiac unit. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Connecticut in 2012. Renee began her career as a nurse practitioner at Duffy Health Center in Hyannis, MA in 2012 where she cared for the homeless or those at risk for homelessness. She enjoys working with adults on health promotion and disease prevention in addition to managing chronic illness. Renee lives on the Cape with her husband and four young children.
Debbie Landry, NPDebbie is a family Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana where she received a Masters of Science degree. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked locally as a registered nurse with experience in acute and critical care. Debbie is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Her special interests include health promotion and prevention, and she also conducts Home Visits to homebound patients. Debbie believes that a healthy lifestyle includes a nutritious diet and exercise in conjunction with emotional and spiritual balance.

Heather Malcomson, NPHeather graduated magna cum laude from Simmons College with a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a masters degree in nursing, as well as magna cum laude from Montana State University-Bozeman with a baccalaureate degree in community health. She received the Clinical Excellence Award in May 2006 from Simmons College. Heather is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau and Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Her special interests include nutrition, smoking cessation, gynecology, and exploring non-pharmacological approaches to prevention and disease management.

Kelley Murphy, ANP-BCKelley received her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing from Boston College, where she graduated summa cum laude. Prior to joining Emerald Physicians, Kelley worked as a registered nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in gynecology-oncology and as a nurse practitioner at Massachusetts General Hospital in hospital based medicine. Kelley’s favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is partnering with her patients to achieve their goals for function, health and wellness. Her special interests include oncology, palliative care and disease prevention.

Barbara Robinson, NPBarbara is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, who received a Master of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2004. She is certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Barbara has over 20 years of critical care nursing experience. Her interests include health promotion and alternative approaches to prevent and assist with disease management.

Beth McGarry Sheehan, MSN, FNP-BCBeth graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Masters in Science in Nursing in 1995. She is a member of the nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau and the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Beth graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1989 with a BA in Anthropology, with a strong interest in Medical Anthropology. Beth has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in conventional and holistic settings since 1995.
An ongoing student of Energetic Healing modalities, Beth studied Homeopathy for six years and is an experienced practitioner of Homeopathy. She also has keen interests in Physical/Structural Modalities and Kundalini Yoga.

Kim Small, FNPKim is a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated with a masters in nursing from the University of Lowell in 1986. She is certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and holds certification as a personal trainer and fitness practitioner through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She has twenty eight years of experience as a nurse practitioner working in primary care and women’s health. Kim lives with her husband and two sons and enjoys gardening, crafts, and exercise.

Carrie Sullivan, MSN, FNP-BCCarrie obtained her BSN from York College of Pennsylvania and later pursued her MSN in Forensic Nursing followed by a Post Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center. Carrie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
Her previous experience as a Registered Nurse includes cardiology, diabetes education, liver transplant and digestive diseases, and emergency medicine.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Carrie previously worked at a family practice caring for families in a small community.
Her medical interests include health promotion, womens health, and trauma recovery.

Diane Wheeler, NPDiane graduated from Salem State University with a BSN in 1982 and served in the armed services for three years as a personnel specialist. She then worked as a critical care travel nurse, and later as a critical care nurse in local hospitals. Diane graduated from UMass-Dartmouth with a MSN in 1999. She is a member of the Mass Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Diane’s special interests are heart health, lyme disease, diabetes and encouraging patients to participate in mutual goal planning for their care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including three grandchildren, as well as biking, scrapbooking and reading.
