Physicians Currently Welcoming New Patients:

Dr. Mara Liebling
Dr. Liebling is a board-certified family physician who relocated to Cape Cod in July 2008. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Chemistry from Cornell University in 1987. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, she completed her internship and residency at UCSF's Community Hospital of Santa Rosa in Santa Rosa, CA. Prior to moving to Cape Cod, she worked in private practices in Northern California and Southern Vermont and most recently established a solo practice in Manchester, VT. Her special interests in medicine include wellness and nutrition, diabetes management, women's health and geriatrics. Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and Golden Retriever, caring for her elderly mother, biking, running, gardening, and reading. Dr. Liebling will be seeing patients at our 19B West Yarmouth Road location in W. Yarmouth.

Dr. Lisa Weinstein-Moreno
Dr. Moreno grew up in New York City. She attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She completed her Internship and Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania as well. Dr. Moreno was in Private Practice in Hallandale, FL and Warren, MI for 8 years prior to moving to the Cape in 2004. She worked as a Hospitalist at Cape Cod Hospital for 4 years prior to joining Emerald Physicians. Dr. Moreno is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She will be seeing patients at our 349 Route 28 location in W. Yarmouth.

Dr. Mahmood Rana
Dr. Mahmood Rana received his medical training at Tufts University, the University of Vermont and Texas A&M University Health Science Center. During his medical training he held a position at President House Staff Association TAMUHSC and was a member of P&T Committee and other administrative bodies. Dr. Rana received a Top American Family Physician Award in 2007 and 2008. He is inspired by his ability to slow or prevent the manifestation of disease and believes that a holistic philosophy is essential for building strong relationships with patients. Dr. Rana enjoys working in a supportive and caring environment among colleagues who like their profession and assist one another when necessary. His experiences around the world have taught him the value of hard work, the importance of patience and dedication and the power of humility and compassion when interacting with patients and their families. Dr. Rana will be seeing patients at both our 40 Steeple Street, Mashpee Commons office location and at our 433 West Main Street location in Hyannis.
